Why do I always get 404 / 403 errors when editing my website?

These types of error messages can have different causes. However, if these errors occur very often with "normal" actions like saving/publishing a page or setting up your cookie plugin including the loss of data, it may be because of the firewall settings of your hosting (mod_security). To prevent that you need to whitelist these actions or disable mod_security.

Why is my background image not visible?

Modules like content boxes or rows do not have a default height. The height is defined automatically by the content placed in those modules. Thus, if add a background image to a content box, row or similar, but do not place any content in the module, the module won't have a height and will not be visible.

Why does my frontend search not show all posts?

By default, WordPress only searches the title and content of posts. If you have Dynamic Post Types with custom fields containing content, this content will not be included in the search results. GREYD.SUITE offers you a feature in the settings to adapt the search function to also include custom fields content.

Why can’t I find my Post Type in the search module?

To integrate Dynamic Post Types in frontend searches, you must activate the corresponding function in your Dynamic Post Type settings. You will find it in your Dynamic Post Type under "Post Architecture".

Can I link to anchors on another page?

Of course you can! Just set a link to the respective page and add /#anchor name to the URL.

Where can I change the color selection?

In many widgets, you can select from your individual colors as defined in the Customizer (e.g. for the row background or in the content box settings). Alternatively, you can set any other color with the colored circle on the right. If you want to change your color pre-set, open the Customizer and the tab "Colors". Learn more under Customizer.

Why do my content boxes have different heights?

Please check in your content box settings whether you have entered the correct minimum height for each breakpoint. If, for example, on desktop screens three content boxes are displayed horizontally, but only two on iPad screens, you may need to enter a different minimum height for this breakpoint. If you only enter a minimum height under "mobile devices", this value will automatically be applied to all breakpoints.

Why does my content box have no padding?

The space between the border and content of a content box can be controlled via the padding. The padding can be set individually per breakpoint in the content box settings. Enter at least one padding value under mobile settings to create a space between your border and content. If you want to have more padding for other breakpoints, just enter your individual values per breakpoint.
